You will create a virtual presentation/display for the HCPL housed on LSC CyFair campus. You can work individually or as a pair.
Your presentation should share visual and written information about the special population with regard to these criteria:
- Define special need according to IDEA
- Share specific data/statistics specific to the special population
- What are the symptoms and treatments?
- Share 3 instructional strategies that can be used to help these individuals in the classroom including Assistive Technology Tools
- Include any strategies students can learn and implement on their own
- International/global discovery or research on application or other strategy
- Local community resources for parents and for teachers of students with your specified disability
- Include at least 2 visuals
- Spell and grammar checked, aesthetically appealing, QR code created, and all information on the google form
- Include APA formatting for visuals/pics on the slides as well as any data used
