Celebrate national Adopt-A-Cat Month this June with our LIFE program! Join us for an exciting discussion with author Carrie Carter about her delightful cat-themed travelogue, "Whiskers Abroad: Ashi and Audrey's Adventures in Japan". Follow the escapades of two furry felines as they explore the wonders of Japan and discover its unique culture through their curious and playful perspectives.
As a special treat, program attendees will receive a complimentary signed copy of the book, while supplies last. This LIFE program is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Lone Star College-CyFair Library Friends of the Library, who are dedicated to promoting literacy, education, and community engagement. Don't miss out on this purrfect opportunity to indulge in your love for cats and travel!
About the author: Carrie always wanted to be a writer. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Radio Television-Film. She has several screenplays waiting for the right producer to come along. Her debut novel, Whiskers Abroad: Ashi and Audrey’s Adventures in Japan, is a combined guidebook with a travelogue and tales of cat adventures. A cat on an adventure in a country that features sushi and rock (& sand) gardens. What could possibly go wrong?
