In addition to the regular collections, the library maintains a collection of course reserves (textbooks) supplied by Faculty and/or the department, as well as recommendations for Open Educational Resources supporting various disciplines/subjects.
Service Learning is a strategy for linking the classroom, community, and civic engagement through a teaching method which combines community service with academic instruction as it focuses on critical, reflective thinking and civic responsibility.
The library currently offers two opportunities, including the Student Research Award and the Study Abroad Photo & Essay Contest. Both are funded by the Friends of the Library (FOL).
