Voters who are in high-risk categories of the virus, who are sick, disabled or 65 years or older are eligible to vote-by-mail in Texas.
Harris County Public Library is making every effort to ensure that all Harris County residents who are eligible to vote in the upcoming general election can do so. Due to limited library services necessitated by the pandemic, HCPL has sought new ways to get voter registration materials and information to prospective voters:
Everyone calling an HCPL branch to schedule a curbside pick-up is offered the option to receive a voter application.
Anyone needing assistance completing a voter registration application are invited to use HCPL’s free 1 on 1 Online for individualized help from one of HCPL’s information professionals.
As of last year, voters are no longer restricted to an assigned polling location and may choose from 350+ polling locations across Harris County.
